I got XL in both but vould have gone with a L on the pants only because they are super stretchy, I am 5'1 and 190, short and thick. shirt covers my behind well and is a soft and thin jersey type sweater. the inside is kind of like a satiny blouse. the pants feel like super thin yoga pants and the design is printed on, cant feel the design its very thin material and feels kinda like tights when on. both are very soft. perfect for fall. it's well made so I washed on regular and dried on low heat
